Nashville has been a creative and inspirational city; however, in recent years, it has really started to skyrocket.  Fashion is a conduit of that creative energy and NFW is an amazing example of all we have to offer to the region and country. #WHYNFW

I moved to Nashville 7 years ago when we opened our UAL location on West End. It's a city full of art, music, food & fashion. A city so vital we are opening a second UAL in Nashville in Hillsboro Village. So, why NFW? It's a way to grow our community through the art of fashion. #WHYNFW

Nashville offers a unique mix of strong country roots, authentic modern day rock n’ roll, and an ultra-cool local point-of-view.  You can’t find it anywhere else in the country, which is why everyone is trying to replicate is look and vibe. Nashville Fashion Week showcases the best this city has to offer and why its aesthetic is an inspiration for so many. #WHYNFW

Dreffs For Success

My introduction to Nashville Fashion Week seemed ironic, at the beginning, until I reflected beyond the skillful art of design and passion for presentation to the burgeoning industry and commerce that was a by-product of the numerous events.  With only five years complete, the immediate impact has garnered attention from local, state and national affiliates furthering Tennessee's commitment to embracing the non-traditional industry. As a start-up entrepreneur, I can directly relate to the demands of self-employment and economic sustainability. My 30 years of experience in producing world-class events will allow my position as an advisory council member to offer sage advice for balancing the growth of the industry, orchestration of volunteer opportunities and streamlining event logistics to maximize impact from the efforts put forth by Nashville Fashion Week. #WHYNFW

Nashville is a great creative city with a generous heart. Nashville Fashion Week is a wonderful example of both by presenting five days of amazing fashion events while also promoting and supporting rising stars in the fashion industry of middle Tennessee. #WHYNFW

I believe "Fashion Week in Nashville" is vital for healthy creative expression and growth in Nashville. It is only through the collaboration and integration of business and artistry/creativity that leads cities, states and nations into thriving communities. Let's make some magic happen!! #WHYNFW

As my hometown explodes into ‘metropolitan city status’, it is key that efforts and events like NFW are in place and wellexecuted. It fuels interest for those interested in visiting or relocating to the area in addition to supporting incredible local creative personalities and talent. It’s exhilarating to not only watch, but to be a part of such a dynamic effort to recognize and expose the most stylish facets of our community. #WHYNFW

Passionate individuals who are working hard at their calling are often in need of a platform on which to share their unique perspectives with others. As creatives, we come alive when an audience has the ability to interact with what it is we have created. Over the years, I have witnessed Nashville Fashion Week create that stage for many talented and otherwise overlooked individuals who have much to share. The growth seen in this city, and the fashion community has been quite staggering to witness. I am thankful for organizations like Nashville Fashion Week, and the supportive hand they have had in nurturing a diverse community of creatively driven individuals throughout the years. #WHYNFW
